When opening the app you can see what are the available sensors in your smartphone.
You can single tap and see the sensor is readable or not. If it is readable sensor you can long tap and see the output from a particular sensor.
Supported sensors:
- Accelerometer
- Light sensor
- Proximity sensor
- Gyroscope
- Compass, etc.
Accelerometer
-Motion detection.
- measures acceleration along three axes x, y, z.
-units measurement: m/s^2.
Gyroscope
-Rotation detection.
- measures the speed of rotation of the device around the three axes x, y, z.
-units measurement: rad/s.
Proximity sensor
-Phone position during a call.
- measures the distance between the device and the object.
-units measurement: cm.
-On many devices, available only two values are available: “far” and “close”.
Light sensor
-Controlling screen brightness.
-measures illumination.
-units measurements: lux.
